Say hello! Sometimes potential customers might walk right by a booth without looking. In order to draw their attention, simply engage in conversation either by saying hello, asking them a question, or simply introducing yourself. Oftentimes passersby are in their own worlds and don't even realize they've walked right past your amazing booth! Customers often love to know why you started your business or more information about your products.
Markets can be exhausting, so sitting while there's a lull in foot traffic can be restorative, but oftentimes, standing next to your booth can come across as inviting to the customer!
Smiling might seem like a basic tip; however, it's amazing how effective a friendly smile can be for sales!
